A beauty and the beast retelling.
Adonis Jeroff is cursed with a life of scars and voluntary solitude. That solitude is interrupted with the arrival of the compassionate, seemingly naive Valora Versace. Brought together under a precarious situation, with physical scars as deep as Adonis' and emotional scars etched into Valora's heart and soul, one tends to believe that time has a knack of healing all wounds. Though Adonis with vigor resists her presence in his life, circumstances just allow her to remain. When vengeful forces intervene and lives are at stake, both began to wonder just how much more scarring can they take.


This is a play on the Beauty and the Beast story. I've always admired it and hope who ever reads it will enjoy it as much as I do.

Aulay never thought a women would ever love him. Not with his facial scar. No matter how kind, friendly or nice he is no women would ever look at him. He is confused when Iona doesn't seem to notice his scar, she is more concerned about the people of the keep than the scar on his face. So, when Iona is attacked by a mysterious assassin, his only answer to protect her and possibly fall in love with her at the same time.

A way to say she'll always love him and that she's with him forever because a line doesn't end. So her love will never end.

We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast. This story follows the outline of the traditional story pretty well with some changes to make it seems more real, more intense, and not such a fairytale. There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other. Here's my version of Beauty and the Beast.

Turning eighteen comes with new turns, along with finding her way in the world. Calla roomates with Mckenzie, a friend from the children's home. Mckenzie is wild, free, and boy crazy, the complete opposite of who Calla is. On a late night when Mckenzie convinces Calla to go out with her, Calla meets Jay. Jay is dark, dangerous and everything Calla tries to stay away from. But he's always in the right places at the right time. And she can only deny the unexplainable feelings that grow for him. Since Jay's been around everything seems to start unraveling, including Calla's past.
