Everything happens after the extermination, next to the hotel and the Vees.
Charlie and company try to acquire more souls to redeem themselves when Emily, the Seraph from the first season, descends into Hell and tells everyone at the Hazbin Hotel that Sir Pentious has been redeemed, proving that redemption is indeed possible.
But when the Vees see the possibility of ruling over both worlds (Heaven and Hell), they attempt to seize power in both, sparking a great war between them.
