March 30th, 1986. The day after the events of season 4.
Will and Mike arrive back in Hawkins. Home. But home isn't the same anymore.
Hawkins, their once beloved town, now looks more like an apocalyptic disaster. The two boys know it's them and the party who needs to save the town. However, this task proves to be difficult when new feelings emerge. Will, the kind, soft and self-sacrificial cleric, who is hopelessly devoted to his so called unrequited crush. And Mike, the loyal but sometimes rude, leader of the party, who's struggling with new emotions he doesn't know how to handle. How will they save the town? But most importantly, how is will going to be able to share a room with Mike, his life long best friend and crush?

After the death of Billy Max turned to Eleven for support. As did Eleven with the disappearance of her dad, Hopper. They were together almost everyday. They grew closer and they felt safe when they were together. Lucas, Max her boyfriend and Mike, eleven her boyfriend, were concerned about their relationship since the girls never hang out with them anymore. This story is based on Stranger Things, but is not completely accurate to the show. This story happened after season 3, but some details are different. [This story takes place 8 months after season 4] Mike has always been in denial about his feelings towards Will. He had pushed him away multiple times because of this denial but now Will and his family is back in Hawkins. Will has been a wreck this past eight months of being back in Hawkins. He couldn't help but feel anxious about the situation at hand. He could feel Vecna regenerating and he was afraid, terrified. He was trying to play it off cool but he just couldn't. One night Will wakes up from a nightmare seeing and feeling Vecna and he doesn't want to be anywhere but back in Michael's room sleeping with him like when they were little. Because of Hawkins destruction and the "gates of hell" many people moved out of it. Hawkins is slowly being crept up upon by the upside down which is now making it's way into reality because of Vecna and there's only one way to stop it and Will knows it.
