Sixteen year old Izuku Midoriya never thought his life would get any weirder than his usual hero training until he wakes up at Honnouji Academy. Right from the start he finds Ryuko Matoi in the middle of her first fight and this time he won't let her get hurt.
Thrown into a world of crazy uniforms, impossible battles, and a school that seems designed to break anyone who dares to stand up, Deku has to rely on more than just his Quirk. He has to think fast, act carefully, and most importantly trust Ryuko, even when the world around them is going insane.
But it's not just battles and life or death situations. Being sixteen, trying to do the right thing, and figuring out where he fits in a completely foreign world is messy. It's confusing. And sometimes he screws up.
Friendship, awkward moments, and a little chaos follow him everywhere. And maybe, just maybe, he and Ryuko are starting to rely on each other for more than just survival.
