Welcome to Firewood Falls, New York, the home of an unusual friendship between an ordinary man and an international master thief.
It all happened on Christmas Day. Roger Hale was once a happy man with a loving wife and son. But, he would soon find his whole world destroyed. A year later, to escape the tragedy that has befallen his life, Roger and his son, Luke, move to a small city in New York called Firewood Falls where Roger has now gotten a job at an Elementary school to remove his mind from what was taken from him. Roger was an ordinary man who spent his days trying to please people. To get him to like him. To not see him as a disgraceful failure his Father always saw him as. But, deep down, he hated the world. He despised it for society's lack of kindness or compassion. He felt that hatred and anger towards the world was the best way to cope with it. He refused to realize deep down that it wasn't.
Luke was a 7 year old child who was incredibly lonely. He had absolutely no friends and was bullied constantly by kids all around him. He missed him Mom and he missed his old town. The only friend he's ever had was his Dad. Much like his Dad, he wanted to get people to like him, but the feeling was never mutual.
But soon, both their lives would change with the mysterious arrival of a fox named Kitty, an international master thief.
Roger never thought he'd form a close bond with a master thief, but Kitty was genuinely a kindhearted soul who loves making new friends. But, with the arrival of a corrupt INTERPOL agent and a group of black ops soldiers, Roger and Luke must help protect the young master thief from INTERPOL or risk losing their new friend.

Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least.
