Just two friends in a global girl group that are closer than ever, till one tries to hide her true feelings during a playful live and lets the distance creep in. Avoiding her at all cost because and not talking like real adults. Who's the child now? "Why do you keep avoiding me again?" I froze. "I'm not-" "Yes, you are," she said gently, not angry, just... tired. "Did I do something?" The question shattered me. She sighed softly, standing up. "I'm not stupid, you know. And neither are you." Her eyes searched mine, careful but full of something unspoken. "You think I don't notice? When we get too close, we both blush." My whole world tilted. I didn't even realize I'd stepped back until my leg hit the couch. Her tone wasn't teasing this time it was honest. Soft. Scared. And for a second, I thought maybe she'd say it first. Maybe she'd tell me everything I'd been too afraid to admit. But she didn't. She just looked at me waiting. And I did what I always do. I froze. "You're imagining things again..." I said quietly, barely above a whisper. She nodded once, that same small, sad smile flickering across her lips. "Okay." Then she walked past me gentle, careful and disappeared down the hallway.
