The night was as quiet as the sea on a moonlit tide, like a forgotten shore, accompanied by nothing but the soft chirping of crickets, it looked as if the stars were falling gracefully, glowing and fading in the distance.
She tilted her head back, eyes tracing constellations, "Hey Taehyung," she whispered, her voice barely audible infront of the cold winter breeze, "Did you know that the sepal protects the petals from falling off the flower?"
He turned his head towards her and chuckled quietly, the kind of laugh that warms the coldest nights. "That was totally out of the blue," he said, looking at her as if she was impossible to look away from.
"The thing is, you know, if a sepal and a petal were humans, it would be such a love story that even Romeo and Juliet's couldn't have beaten it." she murmured as she caught his gaze.
"Well then, darling, I'd love to be the sepal to your beautiful flower."
