**A Collection of Short Stories**
On the northern coast of Vittenstock province lies Drevston, subject to all the cold seasonal winds and tides and the rough elements. A once-flourishing industrial town, Drevston has now deteriorated into a shambling spot of crime, shady business and dark magic, and earned the nickname Demonstown. Out of this emerges a group of peopled called the *contractors*, well-versed in various skills including combat, diplomacy and magic, running high-risk, high-reward errands for the more powerful people of Demonstown.
567 Catherine Square, an unassuming little house squashed between equally unassuming little houses along one side of the square, is home to one of those contractor organizations: the Order of Prometheus. Secretive, constantly short-staffed and fighting to make ends meet, they seem no different from the other contracting offices sprinkled in the streets of Demonstown. They, too, are subject to the storm that's brewing across town, but there are some reasons why we chose to talk about them...
