Avia Sable did not ask for this. She was not the one who bargained away her soul in exchange for beauty, power, and invulnerability. No, that was all her mother's work.
She did not ask to become a monster, but that is what she is now. "Witch" "Goddess" "Lich" "Vampire". These are the names people have given her, but the truest word for Avia is "alone."
That is, until the Queen sends her a huntress, hoping to eradicate the Monster of the Hevamore for good. The huntress was always doomed to fail to take Avia's life, but she did take something else. Something that Avia never knew she had.
Her heart.
Still, though, there are those who will stop at nothing to ensure Avia's demise. But now, Avia has something to fight for, someone to protect.
And when they come for her and her huntress, they'll learn just how much of a monster Avia really is.
