A fanmade spinoff story where my Sonic sona takes center stage. Obviously, story takes place in the Sonic universe, specifically the IDW continuity. It tells the story of a lone wolf who wanders the world working as a mercenary, taking jobs that others would normally refused. He's not doing for the money or fame, rather to find himself a purpose..
Would he ever find purpose?

Artificial Hope
He may have put his past behind him, but his past is also G.U.N.'s history ... and those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Shadow was created to be a cure and forced to be a weapon, but now he has to forge a new path beneath the shadow of Space Colony Ark and the spectre of White Space. For The Love of Speed
Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it. It all started on a rainy night. Shadow was on his way home, but his direction changed as he saw a familiar mobian in his presence. It's been months since he last saw his rival. What happen that cause sonic to distance himself from everyone he knows? Will anyone forgive him for what he has done? This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. (These characters are seen as young adults. The only child depicted in this story is Tails. So, for whoever may be thinking, I am sexualizing minors. You're wrong. I also will say that this book is heavily emotional and has very graphic scenes. So I advise whoever reads this as well to be very open-minded and aware of the triggers I've listened down.) Before Sonic and his friends ever appeared in the human world due to Chaos Control, G.U.N. - or Guardian Units of Nations - had already created a life form that surpassed even the likes of the "Project: Shadow" Nobody could have guessed that they, without the brilliant mind of the fabled Dr. Gerald Robotnik, that they could have made such a valuable military asset. "Project: Genesis," designated as Unit-02 due to him being the second coming of the "Ultimate Life Form," was an attempt at making a truly loyal weapon that would win any conflict with just the flick of the wrist. Using the DNA of Shadow the Hedgehog and harnessing the Chaos Energy within his blood, they created a clone, a superior entity wielding abilities to rival that of a god. He was beautiful- perfect even, and yet there was a flaw in his design. For all his power, his purpose for his existence remained firmly out of his grasp, and his "creators" didn't bother helping. Even with the lingering words of Ambertwo... "You're alive, and life is wonderful." Her final words echoed like a never ending mantra in his mind filled with so many different thoughts and questions. When Unit-02 woke up in the real world after being fully developed, the ones who created him never expected for their creation to rebel against them so... quickly. Fire and ruin was brought down upon them as a psychic force greater than any other destroyed the facility as quickly at the Ultimate Life Form's awakening. In the aftermath of the carnage, within the flaming wreckage of divine wrath, a man approached 02 with an offer- to master his power and conquer the world. Yet, this brought no satisfaction to him as he learned to master this seemingly chaotic, this uncontrollable power. He rebelled against this man, too, and came to the realization that humans, not matter who they were, couldn't be trusted, and retreated into the nature and never to be seen again.
Sonic. EXE x Knuckles: When Hero Met Demon
Demons. Bloodthirsty, savage killers. They don't care about anyone other than themself and will stop at nothing to get the job done. They claim to be Gods. Mobians nicknamed these demons "EXE." Their master is unknown. They come out of nowhere, mainly at night, and kill. Heroes. Heroic, brave Mobians who come out of the shadows to stop the demons. They're the ones celebrated, they're the ones loved. They care about others. There is a lot of heroes in the world, just as much as demons. They also come out of nowhere, mainly at night as well, and save lives. What if a hero and a demon fell in love? Knuckles the Echidna is a hero. Somewhat gullible but short-tempered, this echidna isn't someone you want to mess with. In terms of muscle, he's the strongest hero around, but when it comes to smarts and speed, he's the weakest. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sonic the Hedgehog is a demon. Somewhat snarky but kindhearted, this hedgehog is a bit cowardly when it comes to fights. He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths?
