Newly appointed royal knight Natsu Dragneel is tasked with protecting Princess Lucy Heartfilia after the death of her mother, Queen Layla. Both Natsu and Lucy have to fight their feelings for the purpose of the kingdom. Will they throw away their duties and put love above all or will they be forced apart for the bettering of the kingdom.
