In the halls of Seokang High, one student is chasing a scoop, and the other is chasing a high score.

​Polysiphonia is the ambitious editor-in-chief of the student paper, desperate for the headline-worthy piece that will seal her college application. Her target: Rhenzio, the school's aloof celebrity-a professional League of Legends prodigy who treats Senior High like an unavoidable loading screen between tournaments. He is notoriously uninterested in anything that isn't his rank, his team, or his KDA.

​Their worlds collide when Polysiphonia is assigned to write a "Human Interest" feature on the real Rhenzio, forcing her into his orbit. Determined to unearth the person behind the headset, Polysiphonia sets out to interview him. Yet, the closer she gets, the more she finds herself drawn to the fierce passion and unexpected vulnerabilities buried beneath his stoic exterior.

​Polysiphonia falls first-a slow, gentle descent into a love she knows is unrequited, accepting that she'll always be secondary to the game. Rhenzio remains distant, his eyes fixed on the screen, until the day Polysiphonia decides she can no longer be a footnote in his life.

​But when she finally starts to pull away, Rhenzio realizes the article she was writing isn't about gaming-it was about him. Now, the fiercely focused gamer must learn to apply the same intense dedication to winning back the girl he never knew he needed... and prove that while she fell first, he is ready to fall harder than anyone.
