"Echoes of Today" is a deeply introspective coming-of-age story about self-doubt, purpose, and the fragile art of holding on when life feels unbearably heavy. At twenty-three, Eloisa feels trapped in a life that seems to move without her. Surrounded by people chasing success and certainty, she drowns quietly in her own thoughts-caught between who she is and who she's supposed to become. Every day feels like a balancing act between hope and exhaustion, between the desire to live fully and the fear of falling apart. Through sleepless nights, fleeting connections, and quiet moments of self-reflection, Eloisa begins to confront the inner voices that tell her she's not enough. Along the way, she meets others who are also lost in their own storms-proof that she isn't as alone as she believes. Together, they navigate the messy, beautiful process of rediscovering purpose in a world that demands perfection. Tender, honest, and achingly real, "Echoes of Today" explores the silent battles of a generation that feels everything too deeply and hides it too well. It's a story about learning to breathe again, to forgive yourself for not having all the answers, and to find meaning not in certainty-but in the courage to keep going. _____________________ Date Started: November 13, 2025

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
