The Quiet Girl and the Famous Boy
This story, titled "The Day He Yelled," follows the unexpected and heartwarming romance between Darlene, a new, painfully shy girl who actively seeks invisibility, and Devin, the immensely popular and charismatic "king" of Northwood High.
Their paths cross when Devin intervenes, fiercely defending Darlene from a group of bullies in an empty classroom (Chapter 1). This single act of kindness sparks an immediate, deep connection. Their relationship quickly develops into an unbreakable routine: Devin waiting for Darlene every morning, their easy conversations, and their shared laughter turning them into inseparable best friends (Chapter 2).
The routine is shattered when Devin fails to show up one morning. Darlene's anxiety turns to shock when Devin's mother calls, revealing that Devin is in a coma after a devastating car accident (Chapter 3). Darlene rushes to the hospital, finding him in Room 180 (Chapter 4). In a moment of desperate hope, she whispers goodbye and kisses him. As she reaches the door, Devin miraculously wakes up, speaking her name.
Four months later, the couple is celebrating their graduation at the senior prom (Chapter 5). Devin takes the stage and, in a grand public gesture, expresses his deep love for Darlene, tracing it back to the day he decided to start waiting for her every morning. He drops to one knee and proposes, and Darlene tearfully accepts.
The Epilogue confirms their "Happy Forever," showing they navigated college and built a fulfilling life together away from high school fame. They marry, and their enduring love is defined by the simple, constant ritual of Devin waiting for her every single day, proving that the best love stories are often the most unexpected.

Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years.
