Echo Cereus, an Umbreon with a case of selective mutism, is shipped off to the Kalos Kingdom with his estranged brother, Tanuki Cereus, a Flareon with a chronic case of clumsiness. Objective? Study the artifact known as the Evolutionite under the tutelage of the kingdom's rulers. For the socially adverse Echo, the situation looked bleak. Things only go from bleak to dire as he is sent to a small town and has to interact with Pokémon he isn't too fond of. However, things are never what they seem. There is more to Kalos than what meets the eye. Beneath the pristine surface of the region and the kingdom lie various concerns bubbling to the surface. Discrimination, harmful stereotypes, and dangerous Pokémon become quite noticeable over time. In an unfamiliar place, the estranged brothers can only rely on each other and face the turmoil that's been eating at their relationship since their childhood. *I don't own the Pokémon franchise, nor am I the owner of the art used for this cover. (Yes, the description is bad, I'm sorry qwq) Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon and Shiny Sylveon have lived their entire lives in Greenhill forest. While both Flareon and Vaporeon had pretty shelterd childhoods, the same cannot be said for the other two who did everything in their power to provide for them. Things however, weren't meant to last, as shortly after evolving the Sylveon mysteriously disappeared without a trace. The story picks up two years later when unbeknownst to the three Eeveelutions one walk in the forest and the sudden reappearence of their brother would turn their world upside down. Join them in their new day-to-day lives filled with drama, heart break and dark secrets, but also laughs, good times and maybe, just maybe... love? (The story mainly follows the events of ES, with the addition of a Shiny Sylveon named Cloud, who sets in motion a chain of events that could reshape the multiverse as we know it.)
