For the rest of First Year, pond's crush on phuwin was an open secret. He constantly sought him out, always under the guise of casual friendship, while Phuwin remained blissfully oblivious to his true feelings.

Everyone saw the devotion in his eyes-everyone but Phuwin.

The truth only dawned on phuwin at the start of Second Year, when the pang of jealousy hit him three months later,as he was casually scrolling through Instagram stories posted by one of pond's friends

He clicked on a story , expecting a random campus video. Instead, a picture of pond leaning in, laughing warmly, with his hand wrapped around another guy.

It was then, and only then, that he realized what Pond's attention had meant. But his realization came tragically late, pond had a boyfriend, and he had finally moved on.
