Who knew a history project would be a perfect matchmaker? Ruby is a high school senior who is focused on her education, her sport and trying her best to make everyone proud to the point she doesn't have time for herself. For her history class she has to work on a project with the one and only Noah Baxter. Noah is known to have the bad boy reputation but there is more than meets the eye. The two work on the project which slowly but surely they start to fall for each other. Ruby tells herself she can't fall for Noah due to her shitty bf Michael. But he's actually Noah's former best friend... but she doesn't know that yet.
They both come up with the idea of fake dating in order for Michael to stay away from Ruby. However, there is more to the story than it lead us to believe.
