The world is divided by four factions. Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. Everyone has an element blood, the faction they belong in. At age fifteen you are to take the sorting test, to see which element is yours. Sapphire Belle is a born  Air, and she hates it. Her brother Blake believes she's too fragile and delicate to leave Air, and if she does, she'll land her butt right in Water, which is just like Air. 
After Sapphire is sorted, a war begins between the factions. Arguing over who contains the most power. Will Sapphire fight for the ones she love, or will she become new person, who shows no mercy?
Along the way, Sapphire gets caught between an old friend, who thinks a bit more of Sapphire than a friend, and a new cute guy.
