Prince Adrien knows his duty: he must marry princess Kagami to form a powerful aliance between their Kingdoms to secure his people. But his heart belongs to the strong, beautiful and living embodiment of loyalty, Marinette. She is the daughter of the most powerful Royal Knight Commander and is taking the steps to also become one.
Princess Kagami is not happy with this marriage either, but she is forced to appear she is. She has to, this way she can prepare her escape with her true love, Lord Felix, Adrien's cousin.
Desperate to escape a life full of missery, trapped in a loveless marriage and far from who they truly love, Adrien and Kagami develop a plan. Little do they know this would cause serious problems.

This story is inspired after watching the episode Miracle Queen, this is my take on what I think and want to happen next. (Spoilers in the description if you haven't watched Miracle Queen.) After seeing Adrien and Kagami grow closer and seem to be falling for each Marinette starts to wonder if she should let go of her feelings for Adrien and to move on. As long as Adrien is happy, as long they treat each other right. Though when she cried in Luka's arms she felt a sense of peace while he comforted her. This action opens her eyes on how she truly feels about Luka and that maybe, just maybe she can move on from Adrien. But that isn't the only thing she needs to worry about, now that Master Fu lost his memories and Marinette becomes the new guardian, she needs to take make decisions she never thought she would ever have to face.
