The Death Zone

Mount Everest is often called the world's largest open-air graveyard - over 300 climbers have perished on its slopes, with roughly 200 bodies remaining on the mountain, frozen where they fell. In 2025, a team of Gen Z climbers sets out to conquer Everest and become the youngest group ever to reach the summit all while vlogging their journey for the world to see. Fueled by youthful ambition and social-media dreams, these six friends are about to discover that on Everest some of the dead do not rest. As they ascend into Everest's "Death Zone" above 8,000 meters, the team encounters a terrifying supernatural horror: the mountain's dead climbers rising or manifesting as undead. The spirits of those who never came back haunt the peaks, seeking to claim new victims.
