A Midsummer Night's Dream is a playful story told by Luke Carter Jr, about the exploration of love, marriage, and the unrealistic expectations that can inexorably come along with them. This story will tell you exactly how marriage is portrayed as limiting and difficult, ultimately worthwhile. Commensurate with its origins, this drama speaks throughout for a sophisticated audience. Renaissance philosophy of nature of love in both its rational and irrational forms. This is because of a significant disparity in the expectations placed on men and women. Sara embodies this struggle as she defies her father's wishes for her to marry Luke Carter Jr., showcasing her desire for and true love. Men are generally afforded a broader range of achievements and aspirations. They are encouraged to pursue careers, adventures, and personal accomplishments that can lead to social recognition and fulfillment. Luke, for instance, initially pursues Sara out of a sense of entitlement, thinking he can claim her because that is what he expects.

After fleeing her abusive ex in the middle of the night, Chloe Dawson arrives in a small coastal town with nothing but a duffel bag, a crying six-month-old baby, and the last of her savings. She rents a tiny apartment where the walls are paper-thin. Next door lives Sergeant Mason Kane, disciplined, exhausted, emotionally closed off, and currently on leave between military assignments. After years in the army, silence is the only thing that helps him sleep. Then the baby starts crying every night. At first, Mason is irritated. Chloe is terrified of him. Every knock on the door reminds her of the man she escaped.
