Emily was in 7th grade when her dad and older brother died in a car crash. Her mom pretty much lost it. Emily's mom went into deep depression. She then started to beat Emily. Emily was also bullied at school, when her ex-bestfriend turned against her and made the whole school to. Will she ever get a break? Her middle school crush/Best friend moves back her Junior year. Will he finally fall for her, or will keaton beat him to it? this takes place when Drew is still in high school and before x-factor while they are just another garage band.
