Kylie Cantrall, a new Junior at East View Public Secondary School. She is the 'Life of the party' type of girl, although she is incredibly smart. She is shy sometimes, so she doesn't make many friends on the first day. Her father, Alex, tries to fix everything that happens in her life. Her grades, her love life, but that could lead to more problems. Malia Baker, a Junior that has been in the same place all her life, at least that's what she tells herself. Her mother, Julia, has told her about the stories in Botswana, where she was born, but Malia sadly doesn't remember much. She is a quite, but confident girl, who wants to do everything right, but when she starts feeling something else for someone else, that right thing might just have gotten a bit more complicated. ⚠️DISCLAIMER⚠️ This book may have: smut self-harm depression blood/gore

Malia Baker has always believed life makes sense when it follows an equation - study hard, keep your head down, and survive high school one physics problem at a time. But her logic doesn't account for Kylie Cantrall - captain of the girls' basketball team, effortlessly cool, and completely out of her league. Kylie's used to being the confident one - the face everyone recognizes, the girl who always has it together. Until she catches herself thinking about the quiet, sharp-eyed nerd from her English class. The one with the messy notes, nervous smile, and the kind of curiosity that makes Kylie want to know everything about her. When a tutoring session turns into something more, both girls find themselves pulled into an unexpected orbit - one that's equal parts awkward, electric, and terrifyingly real. But in a school where reputations rule, can two girls from opposite ends of the social spectrum figure out how to be honest about what they feel - and who they're becoming?
