Finding out she was on her way to an arranged marriage mandated by the government - to a man known as the Federation's "guardian", the novel's villain who, even in death, was more than tragic but far different from her impression, with looks that perfectly hit her aesthetics... She thought, damn, and it was SUPER OKAY!
After all, she'd read this story before. She knew how things were supposed to go.
...Until she realized they weren't.
Caught between a flawless society that fears emotion and a truth buried beneath centuries of design, Zariah must survive the story that was never hers to begin with.
