There were two races. Psykians, and Humans. The Psykians were similar to what we call "elves." Then the war started, because of an assassination. 121 years. A Psykian boy named Pyrin is lucky to be alive. Yet he yearns for something great. Something of peace. He will do anything.
He is pure.
But his comrades are not.
Does that mean he is of more value?
No idea.

Every year, swaths of 20-year-olds descend upon a college campus. Unfortunately, this college specializes in war, in consideration of the one raging at its borders. Outposts and enemies line the eastern mountains, guarded by many from the army, but most notably, the Dragon Riders. (Y/N)'s future was determined long before he was born. As far as he was concerned, none of that destiny included Basgiath; not after he watched his grandfather descend into mad ramblings from his battles after bonding a dragon, then fell to the whims of a power-hungry Colonel who would do anything to hurt him. The quadrant destroyed the good and empowered the bad, and he wanted nothing to do with it, no matter what his name spelled. Xaden Riorson's future was clear, no Basgiath or dragons in sight. That was, until he was 16, when his father's apostasy-turned-secession fell apart; his home was burned; and his father went missing, only to be reported by someone he thought was an ally, then murdered. Unfortunately for both of them, Basgiath wouldn't let them off so easily. Xaden had a two year head start and became a Wingleader, ready-and willing-to sacrifice anything to fulfill his goals. Some may call them selfish and many call him ruthless, but he's no stranger to prescribed titles. (Y/N) stood before the bridge, but he had no intention of making it across. His ruined future and unstable life would be given to a cause much more worthy than the torture of Basgiath: his mother, his father, and his patron: Zihnal, the God of Chaos. *HE/HIM* [Book 1 of 2]

Sometimes shit happens. Hey, it's not always your day, it's alright. One moment you're riding high, soaring above these mud-riddled plains with the king of mercs by your side, another, you're running far away from the crater he blew himself up in. You've really outdone yourself this time. W's dead, there's angel blood on your fingers and something itches to grow out of your skull. To pierce those gray curls of yours and bask in the twin moon's soft gaze. Something brewing deep within, eager to dim that halo forever and shatter your wings. A piece of you that's always been there, always hiding and growling, waiting for its moment to shine. So, hit the lights, Andy. Give it some stage time. Let yourself live a little. Throw out that Lateran jacket, put on some leather. Grow a pair of horns, befriend a fiend. Forget Laterano, forget Lungmen. Kazdel is your new home. And your new home's where you rightfully belong, you little rascal. Hellooooo people !! Here we are, a SPIN-OFF story of my "Curly Head" series, in which Andy actually went on that one job he previously ditched and got himself into quite a predicament. In this one, I'll turn the angst-meter down, I promise. W and Andy, happy times. :D This is, of course, perfectly fine as a standalone work, I think, but if you're new and wanna brush up on the lore then you can do just that! Series starts with "Goodbye Curly Head", rest is pretty straightforward. Summed up: thirteen year old boy from Laterano ships himself off to fight in the Kazdel Civil War for peacekeeping reasons, situation turns to shit at the end of his tour, forced to stay in Kazdel and make money as a merc, meets up the first W's crew at the age of sixteen, circus-slapstick follows. Ps: I'm not giving up on "Almost Green", only taking a small break and also delivering some much needed fluff-ish stuff. Tell me you thoughts in the comments, I tend to reply to every single one of them and love reading through them all! Have fun!

Born as an outsider, (Y/N) was born right on the southeastern border of the Empire in a large town. But with no family or friends, he grew up as homeless orphan, doing whatever to survive. This eventually lead to him fleeing his homeland and living a life in the wilderness with nothing but rags for clothes, a silver urn, and an Imperial Arms with enough power to cause an apocalypse all on its own. His first few months weren't much different his earliest days back in his homeland aside that the Empire was much larger and he was much older, larger, wiser and powerful. Without much of an option, (Y/N) quickly turned to a life of criminal activity, leeching off the more corrupt members of society. This would end up in a lot of deaths and the attention of something more than just one man, the Imperial Army. One fateful encounter with an Imperial Officer lead to his capture and being taken into custody. One conversation with the Empire's Minister later and he now served for the Imperial Army directly under the Minister as the "Right Hand Man". After a few months of service, (Y/N) quickly saw that not only the Army was corrupt, but the Empire as a whole. The monsters that people feared most didn't live in the wilderness, but were disguised as people. One day, (Y/N) made a vow: To bring the Revolution. And he would do by any means necessary. However, two things will complicate this process. Night Raid, a group of revolutionary assassins who serve the people and have the same ultimate goal as (Y/N). Esdeath, a general who hails from the northern frontier and is proclaimed as the Empire's Strongest. But (Y/N) didn't expect this to be an easy road. Nothing in his life had ever come easy. But with his goal in mind, his mentality became simple. Anyone that stood in his way will Fade To Black.

Rising Beast | Garou Reader x Invincible by Laurentiino
8 parts Ongoing Mature
Y/N was once just a regular boy growing up on Earth - a planet constantly torn apart by superheroes, aliens, and villains. But unlike most kids, Y/N didn't look up to heroes. He feared them. As a child, he watched helplessly as "heroes" leveled half his neighborhood battling a villain. His parents were among the many who died that day - innocent lives reduced to collateral damage. The heroes got applause. The villain got blamed. No justice. No accountability. Just a scared, grieving boy left to make sense of a broken world. But fate wasn't done with him yet. Not long after, he was adopted by a kind-hearted woman - someone who didn't have powers, but who showed him more strength and compassion than any cape ever had. She raised him with love, patience, and empathy. She helped keep the rage from consuming him completely. Still, Y/N couldn't forget what happened. That fear. That helplessness. It never left him. At 13, he began to train - quietly and obsessively. Martial arts, self-defense, and street fighting became his escape, his coping mechanism. He trained not to become a monster, but so he'd never feel powerless again. Under the guidance of Bang, a legendary martial artist, Y/N honed his skills to deadly perfection. Bang tried to steer him toward becoming a true hero, but something inside Y/N stayed fractured. Now older, stronger, and sharper than most who wear the title "hero," Y/N walks a dangerous path - not out of hatred, but because he believes someone has to hold the powerful accountable. He hunts corrupt heroes, dismantles villain syndicates, and brings fear to those who misuse their gifts. Some see him as a monster. Others as a savior. But Y/N? He doesn't care what they call him. He doesn't want to destroy the idea of heroes. He just wants to fix it - even if that means becoming the villain in someone else's story.
