Ozai carved him into a prodigy.

The Fire Nation expected him to be a hero.
Instead they made him a monster.
Kaiden joins Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee on their missions: catching traitors, crushing rebellions, hunting the Avatar. His nation loves him. His enemies fear him. His sister trusts him more than anyone..
There's only one person who looks at him and sees something else entirely:
Katara of the Water Tribe,
who swears he's nothing more than Ozai's shadow.
Kaiden wants to hate her.
He tries to.
But every battle, every fight, every look makes something inside him burn in a way he can't control.
She thinks he's heartless.
He's terrified she's right.
Kaiden has to choose:

The Tale of Kadia (ZukoxOC)
Fire is deadly and can leave a path of destruction along the way, fire can scar. But so can Water. Like Fire, water can freeze into ice and can leave many cuts and scars. Both can be deadly when misused. Water and Fire can't be too different. Or are they? Zuko is a fire bender, but not just any fire bender he is the son of the fire lord. Kadia is a water bender, the daughter of the village Chief. When events lead to Kadia being captured by the fire nation Prince she realises that although Fire and Water are often referred to as opposites, they might not be so different after all. Kadia learns to realises that the many lessons she learnt growing up where nothing but prejudice. Or where they? Can she get over her emotional scars and learn to heal? Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal? Learning to trust-A Zutara Story
Katara spend a great amounts of time hating Zuko after his betrayal under the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se. She had trusted him and he had betrayed her. When he joins Aang and starts teaching him fire bending her emotions get complicated and she is soon torn between her hatred towards the fire nation and her strange attraction to the Prince of said nation. Zuko infuriates her, annoys her , he is a constant reminder of Aang almost dying yet she finds herself trusting him again and slowly loving him. ~*~*~*~ The story is currently under Edit because it has been two years since I completed it and my English and writing ability have improved since then. I just need to fix it and make it perfect!Complete
Rising Flames
The fire is unleashed. It happened long before Kaen's birth, but now you could see it everywhere. Villages burned down, citizens of every Nation got captured and died like flies, but even though everyone noticed it, no one did anything against it. Hope is lost. around 97 years ago the Avatar vanished. He left and with it took the hope of the citizens of all nations with him. Hope that hasn't been restored up to this day. Hope is a funny thing. It can be taken away in an instant and be returned in the same moment. Or later. Or never. Kaen wasn't a simple girl. She was a fighter, a firebender. Even though she was a women, she learned to control her abilitys, and she was never alone. Her brother Daichi was a fighter too. Together with their best friend, Kairo, they were drafted to the army and split into two different training camps. Daichi was alone, but Kaen and Kairo had each other. After an incident they desided to flee out of the army. The didn't want to fight for something and someone they didn't like. Now they were dessertiers. But this wasn't enough for the two treenagers. The wanted to fight, and they did. For the freedom of the innocent For the freedom of the prisoners For the lives that had already been sacrificed And for some crazy reason hope wasn't lost completly. There was something, like a little flame, that with time grew bigger and bigger.

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. Flames Of Fate (Zuko X Reader)
There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know. The Hundred-Year War has left the world in disarray. The Fire Nation has started a war with no end in sight, and won't stop until it dominates every single man, woman, and child in the four nations. Unfortunately, he disappeared, leaving many people around the world to believe that the cycle was broken and that the hope they felt began to eventually Fade. However, an incident occurred on 83 Ag that shook both the mortal and spirit worlds combined. Due to the chaos caused by the fire nation and the absence of the avatar, Two powerful spirits that were once sealed in the spirit world by, Wan, the first avatar have managed to escape the spirit world and reincarnated into human vessels. The Dragon spirit Ryo and his lover Kitsune the Fox goddess. Kaito the reincarnation of Ryo, the dragon spirit, was born in the Southern Water tribe as the oldest child of Hakoda and Kya. When he was eleven, the Fire Nation raided the Southern Water Tribe, which resulted in his mother's death and his capture, which left his family in agony after losing their mother and older brother. However, three years later, Kaito who was Fourteen unexpectedly returned to the Southern Water Tribe, which left everyone stunned for a bit before welcoming him back. When his family asked what happened to him, he would always avoid answering the questions or just ignore them altogether. He took part in the war with his father and for the past two years had developed not just his water-bending abilities, but also his combat capabilities to the fullest. Before returning home on the order of his father, and traveling to parts of the world, learning different skills. He gained a terrifying reputation under the fire nation that was known to the entire world. The Dragon of the South.
