Within a few hours of the helicarriers landing in the Potomac, first responders find Bucky Barnes unconscious after a suicide attempt. He wakes up in an Avengers facility, confused by brief glimpses of memories and how his new handlers treat him, still desperate to end his life. They say that Steve Rogers, the one person that could maybe make sense of everything for him, is in a coma. Until he wakes up, he has to navigate this new environment and his flashes of memory with the help of these strange handlers.
