This story is in the point of view from my OC valentine when he's 27 years old, he works in what was once an abandoned military base, that's been refurbished into whats told to be an armory to hunt down and kill devils that now roam around the earth after the first apocolypse, they pose as a threat to humanity so they need to be destoryed.

This is a story of the evolution of humans to another. It shows a rebirth then family, it is short and a bit odd but give it a go.
