Storm and Josephine. Two more or less boring girls who never managed to get into the trainees. The titans break through Wall Rose and two dead soldiers with perfectly good gear appear in front of them. Well, it's either death by titan or death by government execution at this point. And I control which one happens first.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut. The day Wall Maria fell to the Titans, Garrison soldier Arden Keiser selfishly chose to save herself. She made an attempt to escape from Shiganshina, to never face a Titan again, though she was ultimately captured and brought to trial. Your life had started long ago, living as a titan for over 500 years, watching the creation of the walls as the terrible, blood thirsty monsters tore down and killed thousands of the small humans. You were the strongest among them all, but yet so unknown to those within the walls. The titans ignored you because you were one of them, but you would never really be one of them. Your mind was not like theirs, you had a sense of... empathy. You had feelings unlike the others and from what you knew, you were the only true titan that was a female, unlike that scum of a shifter. Years and years past and the first wall was struck, down it went and the titans swarmed in, killing the innocent creatures within. You watched the armored titan break down the wall that day, knowing both him and the colossal titan were shifters. Your platinum blonde hair flowed in the wind, and your crystal blue eyes were glaring at the scene before you as you kept your head high with a stoic face. You knew this was no place for your entrance, seeing as you felt the humans could handle this situation. Eren the boy titan shifter arose, the 104th cadet troops had entered one of the 3 regiments and on one certain expedition you noticed a smaller man in need of some assistance. A refugee....a cadet and later member of the Levi's special squad. Two emotionally twisted people brought together by fate. Levi finds Sara to be a capable soldier and Sara too admires the captain. Falling in love was easy for both of them but admitting it was tough. My story follows the same plot line as the original series but I have added/changed few parts.
