This story is drawn from my own life, hence the title. In our everyday routines, we often know nothing about the people we pass by, yet we're quick to judge based solely on appearance. I truly believe that if we could see the struggles and experiences others carry, our world would be far more compassionate and understanding than it is judgmental. As you read, I hope it encourages you to look at the people around you with a little more curiosity and kindness.
