HORIZON depicts the story of when the sky met the ground: long ago, when the rabid apocalypse dawned, the wealthy escaped to a spacecraft orbiting Earth whilst the rest of the world stayed back and either lived, or they died. During their time in space, these wealthy people began to develop a settlement, and they were comfortable for decades. Unfortunately, their supplies grew limited, so they needed to find a way back down to Earth. Meanwhile, survivors of the apocalypse also grew. They created homes from devastated cities. Built villages in the forests to keep themselves safe. All while studying the rabid and how they would prevent the end of the world. Archer finds himself becoming involved in both stories, whilst following his own at the same time. HORIZON: Before Dawn focuses on the precursor to Archer's current situation; before he became Archer, and before the people in the sky crashed to the ground.
