In Peace and Its Shadow, it's fair to say a lot had been seen in the eyes of Peacemaker.
But, there can only be so much one little hybrid can observe in the grand world of Wings of Fire and the alternate continuation of Peace and Its Shadow. So much unseen and yet to be seen. But what if you were able to open the eyes further than from Peacemaker's view? What if you were able to see things Peacemaker hadn't seen or look at what could've happened if certain decisions hadn't been made?

Author's Note: This here is a collection of Side Stories and Alternate Pathways(What IFs) based on the Wings of Fire Fanfic, Peace and Its Shadow. These stories will be taken more seriously into the PAIS canon than the random collection that is "Strawberries and Darkness", and the differences from Tui's planned Arc Four will most definitely be present.
Updates will vary, but hopefully, there will be more frequent updates than the long chapters in PAIS. Of course, I recommend reading the official series of Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland that Peace and Its Shadow is a fanfic of.

Book 1: A Hybrid Named Crimson (Wings of Fire Fanfic)
This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. 'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Don't tell a soul... Peacemaker was never deemed ordinary compared to most other dragonets. Still, one incident is all it took for him to fall down a rabbit hole of deception, guilt, memories, and an unexpected friend. Once Peacemaker gets an invitation to Jade Mountain Academy to get away from everything behind in the rainforest, he accepts. But as Peacemaker continues forward despite the incident, he soon is wrapped up in the results of the past and new problems in the future, where Peacemaker is forced to use his knowledge, intelligence, and lying capabilities to solve them. However, as fate keeps pressuring him in other directions, should he trust the visions leading him down a certain path, or can he find a way to break free from the chains? Is he able to trust in his new friends, or how far is he willing to continue alone until he cracks? A note from the Author: This is a Wings of Fire alternate universe and takes place after the events of Book 15 by years; none of these characters are mine(besides a few made-up dragons...I guess), and they belong to Tui Sutherland. Furthermore, this story was written post Arc 3 and before Arc 4 began in the canon Wings of Fire series. It is best to get rid of any context present in Arc 4 that may intertwine with the world of Peace and Its Shadow. In other words, until further notice, Arc 4 events and information are not canon. Additional Note: This story takes place years after, meaning these characters are significantly older than they are currently in the canon. Some romantic relationships appear in the story that you may or may not like, so be warned. If you don't like it, then don't read it. The Darkest Days [A Wings Of Fire Fanfiction]
Nightfighter is a strange NightWing, he has light blue eyes and most importantly, the powers of the NightWings lost centuries ago. He has both mind reading and prophecy telling. He attends Jade Mountain Academy meeting Moonwatcher, another mind reader. He meets new friends, his winglet. He soon finds out about dark secrets along with his newly found friends. Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers. The only characters I own are my characters in this story. Do not use any of my original characters (OC) for any of your uses without my permission. WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though.
