Ivan silences the room with urgent news. Standing where General Kirigan does, with Fedyor at his side, he informs everyone of an ambush at the North- Eastern border. Though the camp was saved, it came at a cost. As Ivan reads the list of the fallen, the air grows heavy with grief.

Then, with a black-sealed envelope in hand, Ivan delivers the final blow - he is now the acting General. General Kirigan was killed in battle on September 17th. No further details. Ivan and Fedyor exit, leaving the room in stunned silence.

Ivan, one of the most loyal and trusted wards from the General Kirigan also known as Darkling, walked through the corridors of the Little Palace searching for the General. "General"he said entering the room where he was looking through a map"We found her" The General couldn't help but to put his head up with surprise. "Where?"he asked impaciente. "In the woods, in a camp of Fjerdans" he answered. "Why is she there?" he asked, confused. "We don't know, but one of our trackers was in the woods and saw the camp with the girl bound hand and foot with chains" he explained while they were walking to get prepared. The girl that they were talking about was a girl with long brown hair and natural waves, gray eyes, flat nose and freckles called Kaida Deveraux, and why? Well, she has been searching and seizure in Ravka for almost three years for killing almost 30 people, but, why this interest of General Kirigan in her, the thing is that the bodies were found with their eyes out, they took them off them self and when they asked to the people around the place they told them that a purple wave ran out of a girl and then they started to scream. In the whole history it hasn't been a Grisha with that kind of power, but what if that wasn't her only power. Based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy. It's my first time publishing a story in English, I hope I don't have many mistakes and if I have them I'm sorry. All rights reserved. Alina knows what she is this time..but struggles with learning. When Alina meets Mal, they run off together leaving the Silinas behind. Amira misses her cousin but doesn't ask her to stay. it's later when all are adults that they cross paths again. Amira never went to second army so she joined first army with best friend Nicolas Stark. Being part of the same Regiment she comes face to face with Alina after all these years..but things are different for them.
