But when alone, she will not be anyone's bitch, she will stand for herself even when she's terrified to death she will refuse to look down, her defiance will probably be the death of her. Her bravery isn't the absence of fear-it's standing on her ground while shaking.

So, when Elijah Mikaelson stepping into Mystic Falls' chaos claiming to want to protect her friend Elena Gilbert from a ritual sacrifice, Vivienne found herself unexpectedly drawn to him. And Elijah, in turn, found his soul captivated by the little so-called human, sensing she was much more than she claimed to be.
