Alucard (Hellsing) One-shot

(Another noncommittal oc one-shot to avoid full length story writing...)
Beatrice Nightingale was a peculiar human, not afraid of stepping into the dark in what could be perceived as an attempt to befriend and humour a centuries old vampire.
Despite his best notions, it is an action which fills Arthur Hellsing with dread; he knows full well the strength and capability of the resident vampire in his manor's basement.
Alucard for one is just content in his own way to watch humans be humans, such funny, entertaining little creatures that he never thought a genuine friendship would apparently spark, let alone something more develop when Beatrice's freedom of choice is taken from her, and she is in need of some vampiric assistance.
