Fred Weasley thrived in chaos. Where there's a crowd? There's him and explosions next. He is the half of Gryffindor's Greatest Pranksters. Half of Gryffindor Quidditch Team's Human Bludgers. He barely notices anyone except for his circle. Let alone a quiet girl whose face is always in books. The opposite of Fred was Jody Owens- a girl who believes being invisible is the greatest achievement. She doesn't like attention, she always makes sure she is unnoticed. And when crowd piles up, she's good at disappearing into the background.

Jody's only interaction with Fred was back in second year. Jody was new and she just transferred from Mahoutokoro. She has been lost trying to find the Transfiguration classroom when she nearly collided with Fred who was covered in glitter from head to toe. He said he's been running away from Filch after setting off glitter bombs on the fifth floor corridor. Jody has been obviously frustrated, he'd noticed that. And when he asked, she'd answered that she was late for Transfiguration class because she couldn't find the classroom- the staircases kept moving and the portraits kept telling her the wrong directions. Fred offered to walk her there and joked about 'not letting the staircases eat her'. She took that literally and Fred had to explain his joke before she found the ability to laugh.

Fred forgot all about that now.
