Addyson Lennox has been one of the popular girls at her school all of her life. She was the president of her graduating class, the captain of the senior volleyball team and soccer team, and when she wasn't playing sports she was in the music room at school playing the piano or guitar and singing. She has done so much at school, that no one has noticed a special ability she has had her entire life. It made her different from all of her friends, but she was good at hiding. But as she gets older and about to graduate, she discovers that her powers are getting stronger and harder to control.

As senior year started, she got to start it with her best friend in the entire world, his name was Benson Beel, and they have known each other since the start of high school. Her adoptive father, William Lennox has been the rock of her life. She loves her dad, because he was the one who picked her up and found her as a child when she almost died. He was in the military however, and he's been stationed for about five months now, and shes had little contact with him since.

Her whole life her dad has been keeping secrets from her about what really is happening at work, and who her birth family is. What happens when she finds out the truth about what she really is? What about what happens when she starts to fall in love...with something inhumane? She's entered a war that only she can end, with the help of friends of course.
