Katrina Huerta and Artemio Escobar grew up side by side, always together and never too far from each other. For years, their friendship stayed simple and familiar, untouched by change. But during their last year of senior high school, Kat begins dreaming of a life beyond their small town, while Miyong wants everything to remain the same.

As Kat tries to convince him to dream bigger and aim higher, she slowly uncovers feelings she never realized had always been there. But facing change is never easy when it means risking the person who has always felt like home.
