It was supposed to be a peaceful night for the Sinnoh Champion - Lucas Reitan Berlitz had defended his title against a tough challenger, finally returned home to see Aunt Jo & little Dawn and had his partners by his side. It was great... until GOD decided to intervene.

Stuck in a foreign time, completely alone save for a mystical "Phone" and the clothes on his back, Lucas finds himself in the middle of a crisis, in a place very familiar, but also so far from the life he knows. FInding a place amongst a small settlement and cluing in on his situation, he adopts the alias "Rei" and must start again from scratch, with a small "native" Oshawott to boot, in a world that seems to be turning against him. New allies, fierce Alphas, a religious conflict and a lurking darkness all wait for him, as Rei unravels the complex threads that have lead him to this place...
