To the Crew of the Astral Express,
The stars ahead have always promised adventure, yet even among them, a trail must end so another may begin. I leave not because the journey has been lacking, but because my path now calls for a different rhythm, a change of pace that even the railways cannot provide.
These past journeys have been unforgettable. I have stood shoulder to shoulder with you against the Stellaron's threat, witnessed the wonders of distant worlds, and shared the laughter, frustration, and triumphs of countless missions. The Express has been more than a vessel-it has been a home, and all of you its heartbeat.
But my time aboard has grown heavy. The thrill of discovery has dulled under endless grind, the meta has become a troublesome weight, and HoYoverse's relentless push for profit in HSR has dimmed some of the joy I once felt. I seek freedom from expectation, from repetition, and from a system that measures worth in banners rather than courage.
My next journey awaits in a different world-one of strategy, tactics, and a fresh horizon: Brown Dust 2. There, I hope to explore battles and alliances anew, to find excitement in unfamiliar rules, and to test myself in ways the Express no longer allows.
Know this: I leave with gratitude, not resentment. Each of you has shaped my journey, and I carry those memories as a compass. Though I walk a new path, the echoes of our adventures will always guide me. And perhaps, across distant worlds, our rails may intersect once more.
Until then, may the Astral Express continue its voyage through the void, and may its crew face each challenge with courage and heart.
With respect and farewell,
Trailblazer Phoenix.
"Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Adams."
My body stiffened. Slowly I turned around just to see Mr. Parker standing in front of me with hands in his trouser pockets. I bit my lip. I thought he would be angry but when I looked at him. His face showed no emotion. He then started walking towards me I moved back. This continued until my back hit the door. Then he placed his one hand on my side, leaning forward, close to me.
"What was rule number three Miss Adams." His face was extremely close to mine my breath got hitched. I couldn't answer his question why? Because I was more focused in the distance between us.
"I asked you something Miss Adams." He said again.
"T-That t-there a-are prohibited areas i-in the house where I shouldn't g-go."
"It seems like you remember the rules. This room is one of those prohibited areas. So, from next time think before you put yourself into trouble."
I just stared at his eyes. I was lost in those pair of sea-coloured eyes. No other guy has ever affected me this much as Mr. Parker. I get nervous around him. I don't know what this feeling is but this feeling is different. A feeling that I have never felt for anyone.
"Understood?" he said again.
I nodded. "Yes Mr. Parker."
