Shadow's Embrace

Grace comes from a very loving family consisting of only her and her parents. Being a single child, she was deeply loved and cared for, not just by them but also by her two best friends who had always been like family to her.

After receiving her acceptance letter, she moves away from home to attend university. It's her first time living alone, staying in the room provided by the university on campus, near the old library, under the supervision of a kind old man who treats her like his own granddaughter.

But from the very beginning, something feels... off.

When she arrives on campus and is handed the key to her room-located on the topmost floor of the building-everyone who knows about it looks at her strangely. Some stare a little too long, others quickly look away. Even the receptionist hesitates before giving her the key, quietly warning her to "be careful."

The words confuse her.
And for the first time since arriving, Aria feels a slight chill run down her spine.
