Amanda Marvin has been living her life in silence and isolation, seeing everything in grey and black, no colors. One would say, a boring life indeed. Always telling herself that she was happy and content with what she had become, she refused to accept the harsh reality that there was more to life that money and a nice apartment.
When Amanda is met with young Lucas, status completely opposite from her luxurious one, yet finding happiness, she is immediately bewildered by this small boys joy.
"My dad always says don't ever lose your smile because we are born to be real not perfect," Lucas said, giving off the biggest smile he could muster.
That simple statement was all that Amanda could need at that moment. All her pent up emotions, the anger, sadness all came flowing with the tears from her eyes.
She had been in a huge tower made with the hardest brick ever made. Tried pulling it down with money, but nothing worked. But just this small encounter with this young boy seemed to ignite a new flame from within and in no time, the walls were crumbling...
