The Lost Pyramid

In 1920s Cairo, an ambitious archaeologist discovers a papyrus fragment describing a pyramid that predates all known Egyptian monuments-built by a pharaoh whose name was deliberately erased from history. Following cryptic astronomical clues into the Western Desert, they uncover something impossible: an inverted pyramid built deep within the earth, pointing down into an unfathomable void.
What begins as the discovery of a lifetime becomes a descent into cosmic horror when the archaeologist learns the terrible truth: the pyramid isn't a tomb-it's a seal. One of many built across ancient civilizations to prevent something incomprehensible from breaking through into our reality.
Transformed by contact with what lies beneath, the archaeologist returns changed, carrying forbidden knowledge and a desperate mission. Alongside a documentary photographer, a skeptical colleague, a priest, a Russian survivor, a Nigerian historian, and a brilliant engineer, they must race across the globe to repair failing seals in Babylon, Siberia, Rome, and beyond-each one holding back a breach between realities.
But the keystone seal-the first ever created-is failing. And repairing it will require the ultimate sacrifice: merging with the seal itself, becoming a consciousness stretched across dimensions, standing eternal watch between humanity and oblivion.
