The Codices of Awareness and the Veil form the foundation of my entire body of work - fiction and nonfiction - but each serves a different role.
The Codex of the Awareness Continuum is the core ontology.
It explains how awareness functions across everything I write: psychology, the Universal Journey, inner processes, and even the deeper logic underneath the fiction. It lays out how perception forms, how distortion happens, how fragmentation and coherence work, and how consciousness evolves. This codex is the throughline that ties all my systems together.
The Codex of the Veil describes the laws and "physics" of the otherworld in my fiction.
It explains how the Veil operates, what governs hauntings, tethers, thresholds, the Caller, the Returning Hand, and the dynamics of the subtle field. While fictional, it was written to be consistent with the Awareness Codex and with real-world metaphysical reports, giving the supernatural side of the story a grounded and coherent internal structure.
A recurring theme runs through both:
awareness begins in wholeness, descends into fragmentation to gain depth and dimension, and ultimately reintegrates into a more evolved wholeness - a unity that now understands itself through the duality it experienced.
This arc shapes the metaphysics of the fiction and the psychology of the nonfiction, providing a shared spine for all the work.
Together, these codices show the full picture:
• the underlying structure of awareness that runs through both my fiction and nonfiction,
and
• the specialized laws that govern the otherworld in the Gwyn/Mallt universe, built to fit that structure.
"The Hacker and the Mob Boss" ❦
Reyna Fields seems to be an ordinary girl with her thick-framed glasses, baggy clothes, hair always up in a ponytail, and her head tucked away behind a computer screen. However, no one knows she's armed with a genius IQ and a heart of gold. She hacks her way into virtual systems on a search for her mother.
Unfortunately for her, she has hacked into the wrong database. She hacked into the database of the notorious mob boss, Santino "Saint" Venturi.
Saint is the opposite of his name. He's known for his ruthlessness. As a mob boss to a mafia, he learned to eat or be eaten. When Reyna stumbles upon his database, a plan dispersed into his mind. He's going to take her.

"I don't share, angel."
"He's a friend," she found herself saying. Dante was too busy staring at her to notice the fiery glare in Saint's eyes. She was mentally praying that Dante would just look away.
His fingers trailed up her leg before his hand latched onto her sex. He held her there while a small gasp left her lips. "I will fuck you on this table if he doesn't stop looking at what belongs to me."
