Death was permanent for some. The last thing to accomplish in filthy life to fulfil the destiny. Some call it a blessing, a way to a better place. It wasn't pretty though, it was an agonish beast that clawed into your soul and rip your parts waiting for surrender. Tanatos was dead. He was dead before he was alive, skin burning, bones melting, his soul breaking. Dead man walking trying everything to survive and failing miserably. All he felt was rage, pure gnawing controlling little thing that was ripping him open. He didn't know the real world, he only knew Death.
Tanatos wasn't prepared when the light came in, the blinding stroke went through him and took everything. Or offered the peace, whichever you prefer.
