Survival has a cost. Humanity has a price.

The Balkan Void - a contained wasteland, a graveyard of past conflicts. It is life stripped down to its barest meaning, a vessel for loss haunted by whispers of the past. But amidst ash and blood, what does one look forward to?

Is hope the final salvation, or the most dangerous gamble of all?

One of the wealthiest and largest lands on the continent-Trastasa. This land was ruled by the lord and omnipotent god, Amon, and his partner, Nain. But unfortunately for the very human Nain, Amon was not a benevolent god. "My most precious thing." "Do not be damaged, do not be marred. You must remain forever beautiful." "I would gladly soak you in blood and lick you clean." The grand temple that seemed like a perfect paradise on earth, Yet because of Amon's cruelty and indifference-as well as the many Reshas who were like his concubines- Nain found himself burning with frustration every day. One day, a new Resha with rare pink hair and eyes arrived, And this Resha, Ran Gwen, captured Amon's attention at first sight-something that had never happened before. Consumed with jealousy, Nain secretly went to find him... However, Ran Gwen turned out to be far stranger than Nain had imagined. "To have received Sha Amon's attention at the banquet was not my intention, Sha." "What...?" "But may I ask why you came to my chambers, Sha Nain? If I may be so bold, could it be that you wished to see this servant?" Tormented all this time by Amon's coldness, Nain began to realise that he was strangely affected by the gentle way Ran Gwen treated him. "For your sake, thousands or tens of thousands of humans are nothing. You must trample over such things and live, my lovely one." "I have no interest in lofty beings like the god of Trastasa. What I am interested in is the one bound to Sha Amon." A beautiful grand temple built atop the desert. A god both tender and cruel, and a beautiful youth who appeared one day out of nowhere. The peaceful routine and heart of Nain, which had seemed so stable, begin to split in two...

Raising the Doomed Villain

30 parts Ongoing

I was thirty years of age when my life met its sorry end once a simple married woman, my world shattered the moment I found my husband entangled in another's embrace. I died there, on the cold floor of the home we had built together, in a manner far more pitiful than I ever imagined for myself. And yet... I awaken. Breathing. Living. Reborn as the stepmother of a boy destined to become a villain- a child fated to meet the same miserable end as I once did. I failed once as a mother. So, what shall become of this second chance at motherhood? • Note: updates every Thursday Owner of the cover X\@irt_5433
