A Girl's Dream

She was born on May 3rd, 1980 in Irvine, California. Her mother María Torres and her father Ryan Quinn, were never married and broke up six years after Lexi was born.

She has an older brother, Ramón Quinn born 2 years before her. Her parents had shared custody of her and her brother and were both very involved in her childhood.

At eight, she started to do commercials and even did a PSA for an animal shelter which started her acting career.

At nine, she got her first movie role as Emily Morgan in Mighty Ducks. Her father wasn't sure on letting her continue acting but wanted her to be happy and do what she wanted to.

After staring in all three Mighty Ducks films, her career grew and she got the role of Anara Vorné in Star Wars. This was when both of her parents were worried about her.

When she was announced to play Anara, tabloids didn't seem to... like the idea. She received a lot of criticism at just the age of 19. But once everyone saw her in the film and how she played Anara, they all ate their words.

By 2000, Alexandra "Lexi" Quinn was known as Hollywood's IT Girl. Every girl wanted to be her and every guy wanted to be with her.

At just 20, Lexi had taken the world by storm, captivating the entire world's attention. But with this fame, her every move was followed, paparazzi always managed to find her. Nothing was private unless it was behind closed, bolted down doors.

As a young girl, Lexi never dreamed of being rich or famous. She dreamed of making a difference in people's lives. Of being the person who others could turn to when they were going through hard times. And while she did manage to achieve that goal, she would have never guessed how many people.
