This novel is about a girl named Alex (portrayed by Lia Marie Johnson)who moves to New York with her mom. Her mom gets a new job and stops homeschooling alex, leaving her to finish her senior year at a real high school. She experiences what it is like to be there and deals with other problems. She is found in love triangle with her friend Jessica(portrayed by Amanda Steele aka makeupmandy) and this boy Tyler (portrayed by Sean Odonell) how does alex deal with the fact that many boys like her.she also faces many rocky points during her years here in New York. "If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him.
