We grew up in the same narrow lanes, under the same summer sun, sharing plates, secrets, and tiny pieces of our hearts without even realizing it.
He was the boy who visited his nani ghar every year... and somehow always found his way to me.

He annoyed me, protected me, held my hand in crowded melas, and noticed every tear I tried to hide.
And every time his family teased us-
"Hamari ghar ki bahu banegi ek din."
-we both pretended not to hear, yet felt an unspoken truth bloom quietly between us.

But childhood ended.
He went back to Delhi.
Life moved on.
And then... one careless moment erased his number from my phone, taking him with it.

Years later, the memories still tug at me-soft, stubborn, and so painfully sweet.
So I decided to write the ending I never got...
The ending my heart still whispers for.

This is a story of two souls tied by destiny long before they understood the meaning of love.
A story of lost connections, forgotten promises, and a thread that never truly broke.
