Following the discovery of the space navigation system known as Hyperspace Jump, humanity began to expand to different planets and moons within the main Solar System and even beyond, but they also had to develop new weapons and armor to deal with various threats, from anthropomorphic beings and strange diseases to parasites in humanity's new homes.

But despite surviving all that, the scientific community began experimenting with a strain of an unknown virus that is highly likely to be a precursor disease, but its origin was irrelevant until 2064 and 2065.
